In addition, he criticized the sharing of a supposed peace prize related to Trump.
Ossoff said the president announced three times that “America is back.”
According to the senator, Trump also assured his followers that he is in excellent health.
His comments drew laughter from part of the audience and some boos.
Criticism Over Constant Use of Truth Social

The senator used the event to question Trump’s frequent activity on Truth Social.
According to available information, the president often spends hours posting messages on the platform.
This happens even during national holidays.
It was also reported that Trump often shares messages in the early morning hours, when most people are asleep.
An analysis by The Daily Beast concluded that Trump posted on social media during 25 of the 30 nights in April.
Ossoff used that background to reinforce his criticism of the president’s behavior.
Accusations Over Questioned Projects and Spending
During the same speech, Ossoff said that when Trump is not posting on social media, “he has been trying to rob us.”
The statement sparked loud boos among attendees at the event.
The senator criticized the $10 billion lawsuit filed by Trump against the Internal Revenue Service, or IRS.
He also questioned the $1.8 billion discretionary fund created by the Department of Justice to reward participants in the Capitol riots.
In addition, he mentioned several projects he described as unnecessary.
Among them, he highlighted an attempt by the Treasury Department to put Trump’s face on a $250 bill.
Ossoff recalled that federal law prohibits living presidents from appearing on U.S. currency.
The senator said Trump promotes these types of initiatives because, in his words, “no one will honor him when he is gone.”
The statement was met with applause and cheers from his supporters.
Ossoff concluded his remarks with one of his harshest criticisms.
“He is a failed president and a national disgrace,” he told the crowd.
Meanwhile, The Daily Beast reported that it contacted the White House to request comment on the senator’s statements.
