A new video released on Friday has reignited debate over the death of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, following a fatal shot fired by an ICE agent during an operation.

The footage was published on social media by the site Alpha News. The recording lasts 47 seconds and appears to have been filmed from a phone carried by the agent who fired the shot.

The incident occurred Wednesday on a residential street.

Good, 37, was driving her SUV when she was fatally shot.

New ICE Video Emerges in Minneapolis

The video begins with the ICE agent exiting his vehicle and walking toward Good’s SUV, which was behind his car and blocked from passing.

Sirens can be heard in the background. The agent approaches the driver’s door. Good’s face is clearly visible through the open window.

“You’re fine, buddy, I’m not angry,” Good says. “I’m not angry at any of you,” she adds.

A dog can be seen in the back of the SUV. Another woman standing near the vehicle addresses the agent: “Show your face, big guy, show your face.”

The agent walks toward the rear of the SUV to record the license plate. The woman responds, “That’s fine, we don’t change our plates every morning.”

What Does the ICE Minneapolis Shooting Video Show?

She raises her phone and points it at the agent. “It’ll be the same license plate when you come talk to us later,” she adds.

She then states: “U.S. citizen, former war veteran, disabled veteran—do you want to attack us?”

“Why don’t you go make yourself something to eat, big guy,” she continues.

At that moment, another ICE agent approaches the driver’s side. “Get out of the car! Get out of the damn car!” he shouts.

The second woman tries to move toward the front passenger seat. “Drive, baby, drive!” she tells Good.

The SUV reverses slightly and then moves forward. One or two seconds later, the agent fires.

During the sequence, the agent groans, “Ohhhh!” After the shot, he can apparently be heard muttering, “Bitch.”

Reactions and Controversy

The agent involved was identified as Jonathan Ross, according to two sources familiar with the investigation.

Vice President JD Vance reposted the video on his X account. “Listen to this, as hard as it is,” he wrote.

He claimed the agent’s life was in danger and maintained that the shot was fired in self-defense.

According to Vance, the public had been incorrectly told that the agent was not being attacked. Democratic officials have rejected that version of events.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz questioned the official narrative, as did Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

Both expressed doubts that Renee Good intentionally tried to strike the agent.

Other observers offered a different interpretation, suggesting that Good was attempting to avoid him.

They noted that other agents were approaching her and ordering her to exit the vehicle. Good was a mother of three children.

The video has become a new focal point of public debate surrounding the ICE shooting in Minneapolis. The images have intensified questions about the use of force.

The investigation continues to generate sharply divided reactions.
