Neighbors at the apartment complex said he is a father.
Residents described him as a quiet and peaceful person.

Another Hispanic Family Was Also Detained That Week
The same apartment complex was the site of another ICE operation during the same week.
In that incident, ICE agents detained three members of another Hispanic family.
According to relatives, the family members were stopped as they were leaving in their vehicle to go to work.
A relative identified as María described what happened.
«That day, when my relatives were leaving, other people were leaving too, but the agents went directly to them.»
Her account indicates that several residents were exiting the apartment complex at the time.
However, she said the agents focused specifically on her relatives.
Both incidents occurred at the same residential complex during the same week.
The arrests have drawn attention from neighbors because, in both cases, the individuals were detained while carrying out routine daily activities.
Immigration Attorney Advises Remaining Calm During ICE Encounters
Following the incidents, immigration attorney Jaime Barrón offered advice for people who may encounter ICE agents.
The attorney said a person’s conduct during the interaction can be important.
«Stay calm and remain respectful toward law enforcement. Many people get into trouble because they resist.»
Barrón urged people to avoid confrontations during these types of encounters.
His comments focused on the importance of remaining calm throughout the interaction.
The ICE arrest in Carrollton and the second operation at the same apartment complex were documented through surveillance footage as well as statements from relatives and neighbors.
Video of the first arrest began circulating shortly after the July 8 incident.
Meanwhile, the families involved continue dealing with the consequences of both arrests at the apartment complex.
