«Today my heart is devastated by the loss of my son Mauro, a person full of light, love, joy, and immense kindness, who left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His absence leaves a void that is impossible to describe, and learning to live with this pain will be the greatest challenge of my life.»

Mauro’s unexpected death on July 17 has left the entertainment world in shock. Although his parents have not released an official medical statement, journalist Mandy Fridmann reported that the Miami-based DJ had been suffering from pneumonia.

According to those reports, his condition worsened after traveling to Barbados to attend a baseball game, where he reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after arriving.
