The content also included a message that read: “Goodbye. President Trump has achieved the safest border in history,” which prompted a strong reaction from the artist.

Shortly after the video spread, the audio was removed, although the impact of the content had already sparked debate on social media.

“Do not use my music in connection with this barbarity, inhumanity, and atrocity,” Ariana Grande wrote on the video shared by the agency.

However, later reports said the artist’s comment may have been hidden within the platform.

After the singer’s reaction, the White House also issued a response through its spokesperson Abigail Jackson.

“We’ll say it one last time: what is truly barbaric, inhumane, and atrocious are criminal illegal immigrants who have hurt and murdered innocent American citizens,” she said.

The statement revealed a firm position in response to the criticism, defending the approach to immigration policy promoted in the video.
