A passenger was removed from an Alaska Airlines flight after standing up to preach to fellow travelers during a delay before takeoff.

The incident occurred on July 30 aboard Flight 708, which was parked at the gate at Orlando International Airport and scheduled to depart for San Diego.

She Stood Up to Preach During the Delay

The passenger was identified as Whitney Lynn, a 40-year-old evangelist from Orlando, who said she used the delay to share a brief religious message with fellow passengers.

According to her account, she spoke for less than a minute and told travelers that the delay could be part of God’s plan and might even be preventing a potential danger for those on board.

A video of the moment quickly went viral on social media.

Alaska Airlines said the crew became concerned about the passenger’s behavior because it was disturbing other travelers.

Shortly after she began speaking, the woman was escorted off the aircraft for safety reasons.

After the incident, Lynn posted several videos on social media describing what happened and said she plans to consult with an attorney.

She also stated that she will not stop sharing her faith and intends to continue preaching even while traveling.
